Booking Deposit
To reserve your Artful Dog Studio Experience, a non refundable booking deposit of £95 is required.
This deposit secures your appointment and studio time and contributes towards the administration and preparation of your experience. Unless otherwise stated, the £95 deposit is deducted from any artwork purchased following your experience.
Appointments are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
If you need to rearrange your appointment, we ask for a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. Subject to availability, one reschedule may be offered at the studio’s discretion.
Failure to attend your appointment or cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice may result in the booking deposit being forfeited.
The Experience
The photography experience includes your professional portrait session, image preparation and your cinematic artwork presentation.
During your appointment you will have the opportunity to view your finished portraits and purchase wall art, desk portraits, albums and digital collections.
Artwork purchases are entirely optional. However, once an order has been confirmed, the order becomes subject to the terms below.
Artwork Orders
All artwork is bespoke and manufactured specifically for you.
Once your artwork order has been placed during your viewing appointment, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
This is because image retouching, artwork preparation and production with our professional print laboratory begin immediately following your order.
As all artwork is personalised, bespoke products are exempt from the standard 14 day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Digital Images
Low resolution, watermarked digital images supplied for online sharing remain the copyright of The Artful Dog Studio.
Printable high resolution digital files are available separately where included within a purchased collection.
Digital images purchased or supplied may not be altered, edited, filtered, entered into competitions or used commercially without the written permission of The Artful Dog Studio.
Due to the nature of digital products, all digital image sales are final and non refundable.
Goods
Product descriptions and images shown on our website are intended as an accurate representation of our products.
As all artwork is handcrafted, slight variations in colour, grain and finish may occur between products and images displayed online.
Pricing & Payment
All prices shown include VAT where applicable.
Payment for artwork is due at the time the order is placed unless an agreed finance or payment arrangement has been confirmed.
The studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to production and refund any monies paid.
Delivery
Artwork is normally delivered within two to six weeks depending on the product ordered.
Delivery times are estimates only and may occasionally vary due to supplier or courier delays beyond our control.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Returns & Refunds
Personalised artwork, framed products, albums and digital products are non refundable unless faulty.
Should your artwork arrive damaged or contain a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery so that we can arrange repair or replacement.
Non bespoke retail products may be returned within 14 days, provided they remain unused and in their original condition. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
Copyright
All photographs remain the copyright of The Artful Dog Studio.
No image may be scanned, copied, reproduced, edited or commercially reproduced without written permission.
The studio reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, advertising and promotional purposes unless the client has requested otherwise in writing prior to their session.
Client Responsibility
Owners remain responsible for the behaviour and welfare of their dog throughout their visit.
Whilst every reasonable care is taken, The Artful Dog Studio cannot accept responsibility for injury, illness or loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Clients are asked to inform us in advance of any behavioural or medical issues that may affect the session.
Gift Vouchers & Promotional Offers
Gift vouchers have no cash value and may only be redeemed in accordance with their stated terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Only one promotional offer may be used per household within any 12 month period.
- Offers cannot be combined.
- The studio reserves the right to amend or withdraw promotions at any time.
Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
